I wish to thank all those that worked so hard this weekend at various event. At the Thursday meeting (25 attended) and we transferred $10,000 into the TD Bank Heroes Account so we have $13,000+ for our next visit to Walter Reed or emergency needs of Veterans on Cape Cod. There is plenty of funds in the other account for donations and operations. A $500 check was delivered to The Fisher House in Boston by Jeff & Vincent, a $500 check was given to Navy Veteran at our Veterans Day Concert to assist her in flying her daughter to Texas for special medical treatment. $300 was sent to Our Active Duty Liaison, LTC Tony Manfredi for packages to Cape units deployed in Afghanistan, we have a budget for this, if more is needed.
