Recently, a longtime friend from Brookline Ma, Colonel Mark Johnson, West Point Class of 1985, Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran has been running road races in Honor of Vincent. He has formed Team Vincent with Chris Manzano who is the HOMEBASE fitness trainer and Jimmy Santos USAF and Boston Veterans Services Veteran. Doctor Colonel Rocco Armonda, West Point Class of 1986 , will be running next year on Team Vincent. Rocco Armonda has saved hundreds of US troops including Vincent .They will be participating in the Run to HOMEBASE on July 28. Vincent was one of the original faces of the Homebase Program and first service member on the East Coast to get private care after a hard fight with several government agencies and a grueling process to set up the TRICARE contract so other service members could follow Vincent to Spaulding and MGH.
