Capt Chip has been familiar with the Albatross since 1965, and has owned the Albatross since 2006. Chip was raised in Connecticut, but spent all his vacations in Dennis, MA, since before he could remember. Chip used to use the movement of the Albatross as a unit of time. His parents used to say that when the Albatross comes in from the second trip, they wanted them to leave the beach as they knew it was 5 o'clock and that the life guards would be leaving for the day. As a paying customer on the Albatross in 2005, Chip and his family learned that the boat was for sale. Chip and his family immediately decided that this was for them. The rest is history.
