Kenny passed on Tuesday April 26th after a short illness. The Korean War Veteran and retired Detective Lt. from the Waltham Police Department was as gentle and friendly a soul as one could ever imagine. Kenny lit up the room with his rendition of Carrickfergus.  For two decades he greeted customers at the Olde Inn. Kenny founded the Kenny McGilvray Halloween Golf Shootout that everyone enjoyed and raised money for many Charities on the Cape.  Always there to help people and contribute to Veterans needs he defined the term "Irish Gentleman".  A Day For Kenny will be held at O'Shea's Olde Inn next month some time after consulting with his lovely wife. Kenny's passing is a huge loss for the family, our Organization and the people who had the privilege to know him. RIP great friend and Comrade!

The McGilvray Family is finishing the plans for our beloved Kenny's wake & Funeral. The wake will be Wed. 3-7 PM at the Brasco & Sons 773 Moody Street, Waltham, MA 02453

Phone: 781-893-6260. Internment at Bourne National Cemetery, Fri. Time TBA. Members are encouraged to wear their military affiliation at the Funeral. Further information will be posted as it becomes available.
