Sunday April 28th-Total Great Time had by all. Sean and Caroline sang and we had "Velvet" Joe MacDonald open, With John, Dave Hickey, and Johnny O (Birthday Boy). The event raised over $2.000 for Broken Spokes MS and the ride at the Vineyard next Sat. Absolutely packed Sand Dollar was great to see. The $150 Scratch Tickets donated by member Debbie Bearse was won and donated back to Caroline by winner Janice Riehle. It was a wonderful day. Thanks to the over 20 CCVI members who attended for a great cause. Thanks to Evie Reed for her framed art that brought $200 at auction. All members can be proud of the work done by CCVI. Remember next Sat is Kentucky Derby Day at the Sand Dollar. Come down and help CCVI and Sand Dollars for Soldiers cross the finish line this year!
Project Breads Walk For Hunger Fundraiser by CCVI was held at O'Shea's April 13th and CCVI raised over $1,800 for the Walk. Our Finance Officer Horace Thayer has walked for 37 years and this year he met his goal of $5,000. As usual all funds raised were turned over to these charities. Great work again!
