The Weekend of June 8-10th will be hosting the Annual WWG Fishing Derby. Wounded Veterans from Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston will join Cape Cod Veterans inc for the 13th year of fishing an comrade. On Sunday the group will fish on the Albatross out of Sesuit Harbor, Dennis. Volenteers are needed to lift the wheelchair bound Veterans aboard. Captain Chipp Carroll, (a retired USAF Colonel) generously donates the boat and crew every year. That night around the campfire the group will be entertained by Sarah Swain and the Oh Boys, Joe MacDonald, The Harp and the Fiddle and others. Monday they will travel to Falmouth Harbor and fish with Matt Carroll and his group of 17 boats. The Veterans "catch" will then be taken to the Boathouse Rest. and they will be served dinner.
