The state’s high court has refused to give further consideration to a twice-dismissed case against an East Dennis home for veterans, clearing the way for completion of the long-stalled project.Wayne Bergeron, a former Dennis selectman who continues to represent the project, credited the outcome of the case to the persistence of the Board of Selectmen and project volunteers.“It’s been a long 3½ years,” Bergeron wrote in an email. “Now the hard work really begins in constructing our home. Failure is simply not an option.”
