Cape Cod Veterans News

17

This years event will be a bit different due to Covid Restrictions but we need to remember why we gather.  To honor our Fallen Heroes and Support Our Military.  The event will be twelve hours this year with Opening Ceremony at 11:30 on Sunday May 30th and closing ceremony will be at midnight.  Please plan to attend at anytime during the event.

We will honor all Veterans during the Opening Ceremony at 11:30 and have a Honor/Welcome Home Ceremony for our Vietnam Veterans at 3:00.  Our Gold Star Families will be recognized during the Opening Ceremony.

We need your help in collecting items for our care packages.  Since Kmart is closed this year please purchase items before you come or CVS, Dollar Tree or Target are close by.  Maybe hold donation drives at work, church, school, Girl/Boy Scouts, Sports Teams, etc  Collect supplies and bring them tho Troops in the Spotlight.  We will have a drive up drop off area for anyone who does not want get out of their car.  We also be accepting monetary donations to help with the cost of shipping and to fund our programs to help veterans, military families and our wounded warriors and their families.

Seating will be limited this year.  We do ask that everyone follow all Covid Guidelines.  We will be unable to host our BBQ Lunch but encourage everyone to visit local restaurants(many are within walking distance).

We could use your help...if your willing to put our flyers around your town, donate items for our raffle or being a donation drop off location please let us know.

If you would like to send a monetary donation PayPal is available on our website www.capecod4thetroops.com or send a check to CCC4TT P.O. Box 1444  Harwich, MA 02645.

Thank you for supporting us for the last 17th years.  Together we have sent over 39,000 care packages to our deployed troops.
