July 14, 2014: An escort of the remains of Marine LCpl Walter O'Haire, KIA Fallujah, Iraq 2007, and his family from their home to Bourne National Cemetery.
Description
On May 9, 2007 Marine Lance Corporal Walter "Gator" O'Haire of South Boston, MA made the ultimate sacrifice for his brother Marines, and his country, when he was Killed in Action fighting in Fallujah, Iraq. At the age of 20, he was days shy of his 21st birthday. 
On Monday July 14, 2014, LCpl O'Haire's cremated remains will be honorably transferred from his mother's home in Rockland, MA to Bourne National Cemetery, where he will be honored for his service and sacrifice. 
An escort of motorcycles, first responder vehicles, and all others who are able to attend has been organized. 
7:30AM: All motorcycles and other vehicles taking part in the escort begin to register and stage at Players Sports Bar, 86 VFW Drive in Rockland, MA.
9:30AM: The procession will proceed from Players Sports Bar to the O'Haire family home, and from there, LCpl O'Haire and his family will be escorted to Bourne National Cemetery on Cape Cod. 
Following a ceremony at Bourne National Cemetery, all are invited to accompany the O'Haire family back to Players Sports Bar, in honor of the memory of an American Hero.
