Massachusetts Secretary of Veterans Services Coleman Nee came by to visit Vincent and discuss the new Ma Special Adaptive Housing Law ( SAH ) for our wounded veterans. The Bill was sponsored by Rep Carlo Basile ( East Boston) and resulted from the Boston Wounded Vet Run (original Vinnies Run). We are trying make the application and eligibility process as simple as possible unlike the VA SAH which took our family 2 years and then 11 months of paperwork to fill out. All who are involved or attend Boston's Wounded Vet Run should be proud of themselves. I believe we are the first in the nation to have a state law for SAH for our Wounded Vets. Maybe all the other states who are doing Wounded Vet Runs will follow our lead. We are happy to contribute to this important process
